This privacy policy establishes how Golfe Clube de Tavira uses and protects any information that you make available to the company through the use of our website (golfeclubetavira.com) and services. If for any reason we feel we need to update our privacy policy you’ll be the first to know.

1. On our Website

  • As a standard prerequisite for the functioning of our website (golfeclubetavira.com), our servers collect and log visitors’ IP addresses. This is in accordance with our contractual obligation of providing you with access to our websites. This data is automatically deleted after 2 months. 
  • Visitors of our website may subscribe to our newsletter by providing a name and an email address.  This data is collected and stored until they unsubscribe. Our newsletter service,  Mailchimp, has their own legal policy.
  • For statistical purposes, we employ the use of Google Analytics (their privacy and data policies). They collect anonymized and non-identifiable information that helps us improve our website.
  • Members data on this website is protected by personal access only through an individual password established by the user.

2. At our Office

  • Upon filling the member form you’ll provide us your name, date of birth, address, email address and handicap information. This information is important for us to create your account on the Portuguese Golf Federation software (with the purpose of handicap managing through the scores you provide us from competitions) and for contact regarding competition draws and results that may be relevant to you. The Portuguese Golf Federation has their own terms and conditions

 

Contact forms

When a visitor uses the contact form on our website, personal data is captured like name and email address for customer/member service purposes only, we do not use the information submitted for marketing purposes.
